Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Rubix Solver mobile application ("App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our service. We are committed to being transparent about what data is collected and why.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not create user accounts, collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any directly identifying information. We do not access your camera, camera roll, contacts, location, or microphone.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party SDKs that may collect data as described below. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the data practices of these third parties.

2a. Advertising – Google AdMob

Non-premium users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before using the advertising identifier. You may deny this permission and AdMob will serve non-personalized ads instead.

In the EU/EEA and UK, we show a GDPR consent form before any ad data is collected. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by reinstalling the App.

2b. Advertising Mediation – Meta Audience Network

AdMob may serve ads via Meta Audience Network. Meta may collect device identifiers and behavioral signals for ad targeting, subject to the same ATT and GDPR consent flows described above.

2c. Subscriptions & Paywalls – RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions and in-app paywalls. RevenueCat may collect:

2d. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information.

2e. Website Analytics and Download Link Tracking

Our website uses first-party, cookie-free analytics to understand pageviews, referring websites, campaign parameters, country-level traffic, and App Store / Google Play button clicks. We use this only to measure landing page performance and app store interest.

Download buttons may route through our own redirect endpoint before sending you to Apple or Google. Analytics events may include standard technical data such as browser user-agent, referral page, requested platform, country inferred by our hosting provider, timestamp, and campaign source. We do not use advertising cookies for website analytics. Visitor counts are aggregated using a daily hash rather than storing a raw visitor profile.

3. Premium Subscription

Purchasing a premium subscription removes all advertising from the App. Premium users are not subject to AdMob or Meta Audience Network data collection.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

5. Data Retention

We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data retained by third-party SDKs is governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by third-party services we use. Please refer to each third party's privacy policy for instructions on exercising those rights. For EU/EEA residents, you may also withdraw ad-consent via the consent form shown at App launch.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. End User License Agreement

Use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement.
